I am so excited to finally be able to post these pictures! This entire wedding day was just perfect and it was so much fun getting to know this adorable couple and their families!  We couldn't have asked for better weather or a more perfect setting.  Congrats to Khai & Linda!

Elder Watson {Portrait | LDS Missionary|

Ahh, how cute is this guy?!  I can't believe I'm old enough to have a nephew on a mission!  That's what you get when you marry someone who is 10 years older than you.  It's also nice because then you're still a young aunt, which technically could make you more cool.  Pretty sure they don't think I'm cool but I do like to pretend.

 

Anyway, Michael is in the MTC and will be heading to Taiwan at some point in the next little bit.  I'm sure he'll be a great missionary!  See you in two, Mike!

I feel so lucky that I know this beautiful woman.  We moved in to our homes within a couple of weeks of each other and have kids about the same ages.  She is a very accomplished person and it's been such a pleasure getting to know Lindsey a little better.

Can I just say how much I love getting to see friends from high school?!  I love when they call for a session and we have a few minutes to catch up.  Side note - my first ever memory of Miranda was in the bathroom in Jr. High. We were all talking and fixing our make-up in the full length mirror and she mentioned something about her long eyelashes (which are amazing and beautiful, btw).  I just remember being so startled because I was the one with long eyelashes. How dare she?! And so I left. And then I got over it.  To this day, I have no idea how I thought I was the only one in the entire world with long eye lashes. Seriously?!  So glad I'm way beyond those jr. high years!

Back to the pictures... of course this was a fun session. The kids were absolutely darling and SO funny... and I got to spend half the session telling people to "work it!" It's not every day that happens.  So thanks Trimble family... it was a pleasure!

What a fun session this was!  These folks traveled from all over the country to spend some family time together and I was honored to have the opportunity to capture some pictures for them.  I have the good fortune to work with Dr. Armstrong so I've heard stories about his family (his daughter and I have had two of our babies within a week or so of each other) and it was a delight to be welcomed in to their home and meet his children and grandchildren.  Of course, his wife is always a delight as well!  There were so many to choose from, but here are just a few of my favorites.

How adorable is this sweet little girl?  She was such a good sleeper for us and didn't mind all of the moving and changing clothes we made her do. I had a great time talking with her parents and even managed to snap a few pics of big brother while she had a little snack.  Enjoy!

Baby Treyton {Babies | Utah Newborn Photographer}

One of the things I love the most about photography is the opportunity I have to meet new people.  This family was especially fun to get to know.  They were so tender with their new baby and I just know they are going to be amazing parents. Baby Treyton was just two weeks old and still so tiny and sweet.  I just love babies and it's so fun when they pop in for a few hours and we get to capture these memories.

Grant & Luke {Kids | Utah Child Photographer}

These little cuties came back for another round of pictures and I couldn't believe how big they had gotten!  Luke was just a baby when we did our first shoot and now he's a darling little toddler running around. And Grant, well, he's going to break some hearts one day for sure. He did such a great job giving us big smiles and was such a big help to his little brother.  It makes me so excited for my little guys to get bigger and play like these two do.

I know I'm a little biased, being his mother and all, but have you ever seen a cuter three month old than this little chunk?  I'm so in love with this little boy and am so thankful Heavenly Father sent him to us.  He's been such a blessing to our family and we're totally smitten!

Oh to be young and in love. I don't think I have ever laughed more at a session than I did at this one.  Kristen is one of my best friends little sisters and she definitely found herself a good man. Chase was so funny and nice and I can tell they're going to be so happy together!
